its been a long couple of weeks getting everything sorted. Im trying too much in this project, but also, i cant really get rid of anything. animation itself has been pushed way back, to the point where rendering honestly may not get done.
but if it was rendered, it'd be looking something like this.

looking at it, im pretty damn proud of some of these.
the grass has been a pain in the arse, but it turned out to be quite easy once i knew how. its entirely done with painteffects, and renders pretty fast, so it will be in there. it was one of those things i needed to get in there to tell the story, and even though i now have less time to animate, i didnt want to comprimise the whole thing making sense. as of yet it doesnt move, but im hoping to get it to sway. probably not for hand in, but definatly for the show if its possible.
it was rigging that slowed me down.
talking of which, never wirte a bird character into a story. im still not sure if the bird will work, but its good enough to attempt it. the wing folding animation will be incredibly ropey though.

all my shots are now organised and ive started animating. im really not happy with how ive screwed up the timing on this and ended up with barely 2 weeks to animate 2 minutes. thats just crazy. and im likely to mess up along the way.
to be honest my primamry focus is to make something that looks good, not a grade. i always aim high, and ill never change, because id rather aim high and fail than aim low and never do anything that impressive. so if i dont hit my deadline, it'll annoy me no end, but it wont show in the work, because the work will be finished to my standard nomatter what.
